Did You Know?
Did you know that:
Mice can fit through openings the size of a dime?
Rats can enter through a quarter?
Bats can fit through a dime…and they fly
Squirrels will explouite any opening 2” or more
Raccoons can contort their bodies through anything 4”
or more!
Critters will enter any way they can find, and an
expert is usually needed to discover all of their routes.
Welcome
We are protectors of Washington wildlife
Tahoma Specialty Pest Services, Spokane, Wa.
Its 1am and you have just been woken up by something smashing around
in your attic. It could be a rat, but it sounds bigger, much louder. Is it a
squirrel, maybe a raccoon? This is when you need to call a professional
for help!
Many people find themselves surprised when they call their municipal
animal control and find out they can’t help with a wildlife issue. Maybe
you should call the Fish & Wildlife Department, they take care of wild
animals, right? Nope, no help there either. Who else can you call, pest
control?
Tahoma Specialty Pest Services / Tahoma Wildlife Control is the answer,
and we are more than happy to help you with whatever is bugging you.
We are a family owned and operated full-service pest control company
located in Spokane, Washington. We serve clients in almost every part of
the Inland North West region. We take care of almost every kind of pest
issue, from bugs, to rats, to bats. We emphasize good environmental
stewardship, and we believe that everything has its place in nature…just
not in your home.
We go above and beyond to solve the conflict, without harming the critter
causing issues. In Washington State relocating wildlife captured is against
the law. If we capture a critter that is considered wildlife (squirrels,
raccoons, possums, skunks, sasquatch, etc.) they must be released on the
same property where they were captured. There are many reasons for
this: You may potentially split up a family, you may cause territory
conflicts, you may overload the carrying capacity of an area, spread
sicknesses, or otherwise inadvertently cause damage to ecosystems. For
this, and many other reasons, we focus our efforts on eliminating the
conditions that caused the issue in the first place. Most wildlife conflicts
can be resolved by simply changing a few things, and we believe this is
the best way to keep your home pest free as well as protect Washington
wildlife.
